CRAFT BEER & CULINARY TOURS SUSPENDED: due to the effects of the global pandemic on our operations, we are not able to offer OUR CRAFT BEER OR CULINARY tours at this time.

Craft beer nerds in-the-know are proclaiming Tijuana the capital of Mexican craft brewing. And since only a few of these innovative craft beers have crossed North, you'll need to dust off your passport to join our curated and guided tour of Latin America's fastest growing craft beer movement.

Balancing your intake of Mexico's high-octane craft beer, we'll introduce you to some of the most famous street-style taco stands in Tijuana. From classic carne asada, to Guadalajaran-style "birria", to the hand-carved "al pastor" pork taco, and perhaps a crispy fish taco for good measure, we'll stave off your hunger pains with the best-of-the-best street tacos in Tijuana.

WHAT WE LOVE ABOUT THIS TOUR

While San Diego is arguably one of the most vibrant and successful craft beer destinations in the world, many hopheads are unaware that its neighboring sister city, Tijuana, is home to Mexico’s biggest and most important craft beer movement. And this is no coincidence. San Diego’s independent craft beer movement has literally spilled over the border into Tijuana, and if you know where to go (we do), you’ll taste some of the most creative and innovative microbrews in the world. Secretly, more than a few of San Diego’s top brewmasters are actually from and live in Tijuana, many with smaller “side projects” brewing south of the border. Here, small three and five barrel brewing systems still reign over mass-production systems. Keeping it small means a tight control on quality, and more room for experimentation. Chances are, if you love craft beer, you also love tacos! And when it comes to laying claim to the best street tacos in Mexico, there's a heated rivalry between Mexico City and Tijuana... On this curated tasting tour, we'll make our case for why Tijuana wins that epicurean battle, hands down! Craft beer and tacos on one tour? What more are you waiting for?!
